&amp;quot;Lightweight Directory Access Protocoll (LDAP) er en protokoll (språk) som brukes til oppslag i en katalogtjeneste på en server. Og brukes blant annet i Microsofts Active Directory servere. Den brukes både til spørring og endring på en nettverkstjener (server). LDAP bruker port 389.&amp;quot; (fra norske wikipedia)&lt;br /&gt;

Henter ut potensielle mottagere (under @&#039;&#039;&#039;uib-domenet&#039;&#039;&#039;) av mail direkte fra adressefeltet, slik at når du skriver &amp;quot;eir..&amp;quot; så får du opp potensielle mottagere, som eirk.nordman, eirin.nordkvinne, eirik.nordmann osv.&lt;br /&gt;

2. Klikk &#039;&#039;&#039;Composing&#039;&#039;&#039; . Du får opp denne dialogboksen:&lt;br /&gt;

4. Kilkk på den lile +knappen og denne dukker opp&lt;br /&gt;

Her har trenger du å gi instillingen&lt;br /&gt;
et navn (&#039;&#039;&#039;UiB LDAP&#039;&#039;&#039;),&lt;br /&gt;
servnernavn (&#039;&#039;&#039;ldap.uib.no&#039;&#039;&#039;),&lt;br /&gt;
search base (&#039;&#039;&#039;dc=uib,dc=no&#039;&#039;&#039;),&lt;br /&gt;
porten kan stå som den står (&#039;&#039;&#039;389&#039;&#039;&#039;)&lt;br /&gt;
og &#039;&#039;&#039;subtree&#039;&#039;&#039; er ok.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5. klikk ok &amp;quot;and it just works&amp;quot;!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Når du nå skriver inn bokstaver i adressefeltet, så kommer forslagene fra ldap etter de bokstavene du klikker.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;=Igor 6 Pro in GNU/Linux using wine=&lt;br /&gt;
The following setup is done using Fedora 12 and wine version 1.1.38&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Running the setup==&lt;br /&gt;
Use a clean wine folder. Either remove your old or create an new prefix&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;pre&amp;gt;$ export WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.igor6&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Igor6 requires a html render, sometimes wine fails to install it on its own, so we will do it manually.&lt;br /&gt;
To install Gecko we have to download winetrics.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;pre&amp;gt;$ wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Run winetrics&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;pre&amp;gt;$ env WINEPREFIX=~/.igor6 sh winetricks gecko&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Now we can start the Igor 6 Pro installation.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;pre&amp;gt; $ wine setupIgor6.exe&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The install should run smoothly with default settings, just click next and ok until the installer starts.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Starting and activate igor==&lt;br /&gt;
You should have a wine folder in your start menu, under this you will find Igor Pro.&lt;br /&gt;
* Activate the product with your activation key. (Current holder of the license is Leif J. Sæthre at the institute of Chemistry)&lt;br /&gt;
* Skip the online registration.&lt;br /&gt;
Your installation of Igor 6 should now be complete, final steps is configuration of sound and some custom macros.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Sound==&lt;br /&gt;
For some simulations in Igor 6 sound is necessary, run&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;pre&amp;gt;winecfg&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
* Select the Audio tab&lt;br /&gt;
* Set Hardware Acceleration to Emulation&lt;br /&gt;
* Select ok&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Macros==&lt;br /&gt;
All macros should be placed in the &amp;quot;User Procedures&amp;quot; folder under Igor, and symlinked to the &amp;quot;Igor Procedures&amp;quot; folder.&lt;br /&gt;
